Asking about cost of living in Amman

Hello all I'm new here..
Soon I'm moving to live in Amman as soon as I find furnished apartment in a nice area perhaps in Abdoun.
My Question is : How much the cost of living- on budget - for the grocery,pocket money,taxis for one person?.(Renting and bills is not included)
is 200-300 JOD will be enough for me , can I save any ,or buying cloths or cosmetics when needed,going to have fun at least once a week to nice place ? please Help me with your answers especially the ladies:(?

if you look for furnished聽 apartment in Abdoun聽 it will be聽 a little expensive .聽

if聽 you mean聽 that聽 300 JOD for聽 expenses only聽 including聽 food聽 and聽 clothes聽 yes聽 it is聽 enough聽 and聽 you can聽 save聽 but聽 very few聽聽

please don't聽 hesitate to ask more questions

Dear Deanolive Thank you for kindly replying but What about the taxis is it available all the time in Abdoun? how much gonna cost monthly聽 coz I will be alone most of the time due my husband works,so I will have to take taxis for going out to do shopping and etc... when needed.

Well聽 the聽 taxi fare聽 is聽 not that聽 much in Amman聽 because聽 Amman聽 is聽 small聽 and all聽 taxis聽 using聽 meter .聽 yes聽 taxi聽 is聽 available聽 24聽 hours in most聽 of聽 Amman's聽 area聽
