Waste Disposal in Suzhou

Hi all,

I am now living and working in Suzhou (SIP) for the last 3 months, where I share an apartment with another work colleague.

My question is what do I do with regard to disposing of cans and empty bottles. They are just piling up here and I am eager to dispose of them.

Do you just throw them out with all your other waste, or am I correct to separate them? By separating them what do I then do with them? Can they be recycled etc? I have little or no Chinese so the language barrier is a problem, nor can I read Chinese symbols.

Any advice appreciated.

Hey I am from Suzhou, as far as I know ,you dont have to. I am from Suzhou and live in Germany now.

what kind of can and bottle? I only know if they are plastic, someone can offer them. otherwise, put it into garbage bin. This is a way for me.
