Hello everyone,

I am trying to make jalapeno poppers for thanksgiving, unfortunately I have found all the ingredients that I need except for the jalapenos. Does anyone know where I can find some?

The only ones I have ever come across in Mauritius are the sliced ones in a jar, sometimes found in the Mexican section of supermarkets.

Might not be the same thing.

But I saw lots of chinese restaurants serving a big chilli similar to jalapeno stuffed with chicken or something and then deep frying them. They called it Piment Farci. So perhaps you can find it in local markets or even supermarket.

Might not be the same but worth a try. Absolutely love Piment Farci.

Thanks for the info, Piment farci is definitely good but it is totally different to jalapenos.

I'll keep looking and let you guys know if I find some!
