looking for basic room to rent for short/medium stay in Manila

hello
i'll be in Philippines whole December/january;
I will have to stay most of the time in Manila.
Im looking for an affordable room to rent weekly or monthtly in area Malate, or Quezon city, or even Makaty area;
Just 1 single room with bed, bathroom; no need of kitchen!
Price around 1000php/daily maximum (5-7000 pesos/week or 25-30000 pesos/months)

does anyone have some good advices/information, please let me know!
