Just arrived in Sweden

Hi, I am a english girl and I moved to Sweden 2 weeks ago I have never been here before and dont speak swedish and dont know anyone!! I am located in stockholm and I would like to find a job or a volunteer role to get my out the house and to meet potential friends, but dont know were to start looking if anyone has any advice that would be great.

Wow..u are in the wrong country cos this is the most boring country anyone can live in.anyway,as regards the job,I pray and hope u get one.swedish people are not welcoming at all.they are just all a bunch of boring and lonely people.I hope you find a friend...and I am sure you will think of going back to england after a few weeks..

thank you for your message - i have found it hard i dont think its too boring however i have found it hard to get a job and make friends like you suggest, i am probably going to being moving again in a month of two as i find it very expensive compared to the uk and without a job i cant afford to stay, thank you for your advice x
