Hi Everybody

I have the chance to work with an university in Abu Dhabi

I hold an Engineering PhD degree.

the offer consists in:

Salary up to 18,000 AED/month

Unfurnished accommodation (do not know where and how....)
Relocation allowance of AED 30,000
Annual travel tickets to and from my country
48 working days of annual leave
Free Health coverage
Children education up to AED 60,000 for one child per year and upto AED 120,000/- for the whole family per year
Repatriation allowance

What's your opinion?
is it a good offer? since I do not have kids can I ask to raise my wage? I aim to have a good life quality, sport club, buy me a car (not a lambo neither an awful one), maybe a motorbike,

Dater

With a Phd on engineering they ought to offer you a better salary. Their offers depends however on the experience in teaching and surprisingly enough the nationality.

Anyway, since you will be on single status, you can ask then for an equivalent package. Don't call it a wage raise, where by they include your accommodation allowance and children education in the salary which shall pump it up by some 15 000 dirham. In which case you still have to sort out accompdations on your own.

Good luck.

48 working days of annual leave is a good one- you would be able to go to your home country twice in a year - 4 weeks each time.
