Hello from Andalucia

Hello!
My name is mirzania and I'm an English Expat now living in Spain, close to the beautiful city of Granada.
My blog is posted here.  It's .  It's called 'No me lo puedo creer!' ('I cannot believe it!') simply because that is how living in Spain has presented itself to me and my husband up to now (but it's not Spain's fault, it's our ironic luck). But nevertheless we are loving it here in Espana.
Thanks Julien for accepting my blog here. Muchas gracias!
And now I'm going to check out the forums :)

Julien

Welcome on board mirzania!

Why did you move to Andalucia :) (I love this region!)

Un saludo desde el otro lado del mundo,

Julien

Hello Mirzania! Nice blog. I wanted to leave a comment re the bread lady but the blog didn't allow me to do so. Apparently it is necessary to be member of wordpress
:(

Hola Julien Thanks for replying :)
We moved to Andalucia because we had spent some holidays there.  We actually stayed on the Costa Del Sol, but travelled inland most of the time.  We discovered that we loved inland Andalucia.  The culture was laid-back, the people were friendly and welcoming, and the scenery was stunning. But we loved Granada most of all; its atmosphere, its architecture, and the general 'chaos' of life in the city.  There's loads to see and do there and everything stays open late - a real bonus for 'night birds' like us.  We wanted to live somewhere out of the City but near enough to go there regularly, so we chose our little 'mountain village' south of Granada.  And although I write about it jokingly on my blog, we really love it there.
I've heard that Mauritius is a lovely place too, but I've never been there.  Maybe one day ... :)

Hola wendyfb :)
Thanks for saying you like my blog. It takes a fair bit of work to keep up, but it's a true record of our life out here so far, however strange it may seem at times.
Sorry you were unable to comment on the Bread Lady (she woke me up again this morning by the way :( ), I had forgotten that when I first set up the blog I had set it for Wordpress replies only.  I've just changed it now to allow all commments. Thanks for letting me know btw.  Much appreciated. :)
Oh yes, I nearly forgot to say that Malta is one of the places we want to visit very soon.  In my student days I did an oral history project on the Malta Convoys and met some very interesting people from Malta (but in the UK at the time for the celebrations), so it is a country that I know a little about as regards history, but really want to find out more.  I'm going to check out your blog ;)
