you can find cheap accommodation for 1500-2000 Dhm. It's shared and that is the cheapest one. If you go out for lunch (not in exclusive restaurants) you'll need around 600-700 Dhm monthly. And you'll have some money for groceries! 3500 Dhm are enough for very average living!And I am not sure if you can save anything!

well let me declare it, since your housing is offered from company, no one will give you access to internet!
for blackberry it will be around 100 AED + or -.
i don's see any big difference between DU and ETISALAT, almost same prices and offers.
Taxi in Dubai is expensive! you can use Metro or Buss.
