Trecking Mt Kenya

Post new topic

Tilman

Hi there,
I am planning to climb Mt Kenya on one of the first two weekends in February and I am looking for companionship! I do not want to do the technical summit but only Point Lenana (4 days hike). I am equipped for camping but would also sleep in a lodge. I am a good hiker (living in Switzerland) but not a sports or mountain freak.
I have not yet planned on how to get to the mountain (I do not have a car), but I am sure it wont be difficult to figure something out.
Please contact me if you are interested, or simply reply to this post!
Looking forward to the hike

hi.are you still interested in climbing mt. Kenya? If so,I can recommend you to some guides who live in that area near mt. Kenya and they are employed by a well known company which deals with mountain climbing and from there you can get someone to accompany you as they go into groups. please contact me if interested.

Hey Tilmnan,

I'm a keen hiker from the UK living in Nairobi and looking to get out of the city most weekends. I am non-technical but well equipped for camping.

I am thinking of putting something together for next weekend, perhaps Mt Kenya or Ngong hills. Haven't done any research at this point so open to any suggestions. I don't have a car either.

Let me know if you (or anyone else) are interested for next weekend, or any time after that. The more time in the hills the better.

Regards
Dan
