Hi I am a 24 year old American, I am originally from California, but have been living in Boston for the past 6 years. I recently moved to Istanbul to play professional football (American football) and coach at the university level, yes believe it or not there is American football in Turkey. I have enjoyed my first week in Istanbul so far, I am living in a very lively part of the city not too far from Taksim Square. I will be staying here for the next 5 months and hope to get the most out of my time here. I am looking for any friends, advice, travel tips and pretty much any information that could be helpful to me to ensure that I have best 5 months possible.

I'm Turkish but brought up in the UK I moved back here for the experience, and it doesnt look like I'm goign back..
