Hi all, I ran into the same issue. I am gonna be in South Korea very soon and was asking for assistance as far as tips and or contacts for finding an apartment so I copied and pasted the same request. I did not see the policy beforehand. It was a simple mistake.

2/ Understand these rules

3 / Follow these rules.

You obviously did not read the rules available to you before you clicked the "I agree" box when joining.

You need to post number of informative, topical posts on other sections of the forum before your message system is activated.

You have not, as yet, posted enough times on other areas of the forum to have your message system activated. Posting here will not count.

Your participation, the same for all members, is valued as long as you follow the rules in post #1 on this thread, write informative,  topical posts and do not cut and paste( this is considered to be spam on this forum) then you are on your way to becoming contributing member of the forum.

You have posted on a number of old inactive threads, your posts have been lacking in information. admin have edited a post as it contained external links and you were asked to read the forum code of conduct. (supplied by admin on the offending post)

I suggest you read the forum code of conduct.

Until you do so and follow rules laid out here on post#1 and the forum code of conduct then your message system will not be activated.

Simply posting one line replies on threads will not count towards activation.

hello. its not any spam or something like that. I think you should be flexible for community to every one can make friend easier than current.

My mailbox still locked, if you don`t want me to use this webside it is fine , just tell me. Otherwise unlock pls !

There will be a reason for the lock. Cut and paste, offensive posts or messages etc.

You can have you system reactivated by posting a number times on other sections of the forum with informative topical posts. After a time your system should be activated.

If this does not suit you then you click on 'contact us' at the bottom of the page and ask to have your account closed.

You are a new member who has not posted enough times on different sections of the forum to become a full member and have your message system activated.

I see you are a real estate agent so I suspect you joined up to be able to send out unwanted unsolicited messages to members offering your services.

The forum has a process in place for all members to follow and as such will not bend these rules to suit an individual.

Actually, it's great.
The forum used to have a massive problems with spammers trying to engage in a variety of rubbish from selling language lessons (commonly disguised as meets), pimping, offering sex, demanding money for non-existent jobs, sex pests after women, and a whole suitcase full of criminal activities, but these 'unbelievable' rules have stopped the vast majority of that lot.

Agree with you, but i think this rules needs to be more flexible  (for the first time mistake) then once repeated, you can block users. cause most of us  (blocked ppl 😄) we didn't mean to break any rules!
we just misused the app by copy & past cos as a new member you've no much things to say!

Sorry but if the rules were to be made flexible then this would then mean more admin staff and resources to police it. With over 2 million members and more joining everyday this is not an option.

I understand that new members do make mistakes, like cut and paste but this is considered to be spam and it is written in the forum rules which you all should have taken the time to read before you clicked on the "I agree " box when joining up.  It is also written in post #1 here on this thread and has been explained time and time again on this thread.

How can I unblock the Private Message fetaure ?

I havent loggged in the site for 6 months but i realised i am blocked to send PMs, its interesting .

Usually sending private messages to help expat to know the positive side of Kuwait more and to understand the culture
So if anyone have some questions about Kuwait I will try to answer them
Willing to participate more in the community

You are not blocked.
As a new member you have not posted enough times to have your system activated. Posts need to be informative and topical. Posting here will not count towards having your system activated.

To reactivate your system you need to post a number of times on other sections of the forum with posts that are relevant to the subject matter, informative and topical. No offensive, racist or religious type posts.

Once you have done the above and had your system reactivated you are on your way to becoming a contributing forum member.
