If it's a cylinder lock, it's absolutely trivially easy to do it yourself. Look here to see if it's a cylinder lock:

If it's a security lock, with a metal bar across the door, then it's a little more complicated.

It seems burglaries in large blocks of flats where kicking the door in are becoming more common. Someone attempted to get in on one of my relatives door the other afternoon but he has a metal reinforced door and they didn't succeed. Others in the block were not so lucky.

Yes, thank you for your concern. I've done my research and I know I need a hevederz谩r type lock. Everything has been checked with the landlord and management company - now I need a handyman. Do you have any suggestions?

do you just need to change the cylinder or the whole metal bar has to be installed?

Just curious. I guess has been resolved by now.
