University of Antwerp Admission Process

Post new topic

Sammyeby

Hi people,
I recently applied for a masters degree in the University of Antwerp. Its been about 6weeks since I applied. Though they said it will take about 8weeks for them to evaluate my application, they have not contacted me about the confirmation of my IELTS test score which they said they will do with skype video call.

so please does anybody know how the university of Antwerp conduct the skype interview? will the university give me prior notice to prepare?

Helpful tips on how to go about getting ready and information on what to say on the day of the interview would be really appreciated.

Please urgent help needed because I am expecting to here from the university soon.

Thanks all in advance.

You need to ask the university not here, no-one here can give you the answer unless they work at the university department you are applying for, even if someone replies about their person experience of applying at this university, it's their experience and does not mean you will have the same.

Sammyeby

@Tervurener; Thanks for the reply. I guess I have to ask the University then.

Hi Sam,

Did u receive any reponse from the university. I intend to apply in this univ too in 2014. Hope u could give me some experiences

Sammyeby

@Iyse145: I had to contact the university over 2weeks ago regarding the evaluation results of my application and a possible Skype interview to confirm my IELTS result if I am accepted. They replied me then and said I will receive the Evaluation results in about 2weeks. It's been over 2weeks now, in fact, this Thursday 16th may will make it 3weeks and still no word yet from them. I just pray they contact me this week because there isn't much time left for my visa application process in my country.

I hope you find this information useful. My advice is, if you want to apply, do it well on time if you are a Non-eu citizen.

Hi
How did you ask? If you just send them email, as an student at University of Antwerp,  I suggest to call the responsible person and ask about the procedure.
Anyway, let me know please if I can be of any help.

Sammyeby

@Mhka: I have not called any staff of the University, I  have only been sending them Emails and they don't reply all the time. I will definitely call the Faculty and the Student admin office tomorrow being Monday. Please if I may ask you, how did your application succeed? Did it take more than 8weeks as they said? Why I asked is that mine has taken more than 10weeks now and I have not received the results of the evaluation of my application. Please what do you suggest I should do? Is there a way you can help me since you are a student there already? May be help me go to the student's admin office? Please anyway you can help me, i will be really grateful. Please I really need assistance.

Please reply soon.

Thanks

MhKa

Hi Sammyeby

my application also tooke more than 2 months but it depends on the department and group you applied for.
This Monday University is closed so you can call the staaf on Tuesday. First try yourself but if they response was not clear give me more information so that I can follow up your application.
Good luck

Sammyeby

@Mhka: Okay. Thanks a lot for the reply. I will call the university on Tuesday as you advised. I will keep you posted on how it goes.

Thanks a lot once again.
