You should try the Vancouver meet up group. There are different kind of groups with different activites, it's a good way to speak english, meet people and have fun.

Don't worry too much about your English (by the way, it doesn't seem bad to me at all). Vancouverites are usually very helpful and patient with foreigners, and no one expects you to speak English fluently after just one week

What are some of the activities that you cannot do alone? This is a super safe city, so it's completely OK to go out and explore by yourself - I actually find that I learn more about a new place when I'm alone, because I pay more attention to what's around me.

What kind of job have you?
I like sports : run and walk, swim, ski. I would like to go to Whistler and The Rocky Moutain with my school. Earcher, nice to come at your monthly meetup. But, where and when ? I think my friend want to go with me.

I know it's possible to visit alone but I'm alone on the house yet ...
