No work for expats in Cook Islands.
You will need a visa.

David

Hi bom,

I suggest you to read topics on the Cook Islands forum, these may answer some of your questions.

Thank you,

David.

The only way to fly into Cook Islands is via USA, New Zeeland, Australia, Fiji and Frensh Polynesia.
If you need visa for any of these countries then yes, you need a transit Visa.

On occation expats are given work visa if there is no local expertise, but it is rare.
In order to get a visa to stay and work you need either to start a bussiness (extensive proof of business and plan is needed) or to buy a existing bussiness.
