Japanese in Malaysia

nidahanif

Hello,
My name is Nida Hanif. I am a property agent, and I have a project coming up, which relates to Japanese migration to Malaysia as a second-home.

So, I am doing a survey to find out where are the most popular spots in Malaysia where Japanese community are residing.

I appreciate if you could give me some feedback.

Thank you very much.

sorry to say, most of the mm2h agents i have come across are just here to rip off mm2h applicants
their charges are just too much
the malaysian government has made it so easy, any applicant can go online and do the whole process for almost nothing

Hello Caesar1956, as for now, I am not doing anything about MM2H. I just want to find out where most Japanese people are residing, because I think it is a good idea to start from where most of their community can be found.  I mean, if there is a spot where a lot of Japanese are residing, then it could mean there is something that they like in that area.

FYI, the project I am doing originates from some Japanese friends, not from Malaysian/local agents.  And this project is requested by our Japanese friends, and I am just helping out.  I am sorry that your experience with the local agents was a dissappointment.  FYI, the way it works for me and my agency is we just provide services to sell properties and the services (legal and bank) we provide in order to make the buy-sell processes smooth are FOC.  We charge the owner, as the usual practice in Malaysia is owners are chargeable, while buyer is not chargeable, unless there are extra services that are requested by the buyer, then I guess it is up to both parties (buyer and agent) to agree on a fee.

:) I am still waiting for the Japanese expats to share your feedback.. please..

Hi Caesar,
Can you just point out where are your Japanese friends residing in Malaysia?  A colleague of mine mentioned Penang, and we all agree that KL & Selangor are among the places that we must consider.  It's just that I have not seen many Japanese people in KL/Selangor (I live in Puchong and I guess they are not here).

I do consider the Mines area (Seri Kembangan), Ulu Klang, Bangsar, Mont Kiara, where the areas are not too busy (too city-like) but developed enough that there are good public transports.

Thanks a lot Caesar, I really appreciate the fact that least someone is 'talking' to me :) I guess the other members do not check here very frequently.
