yes this is a normal process in maldives at the momemnt

Yes, I believe it can, although they are tightening up visa's now.

hehehe,,that's brutal..
Don't worry! It can,same thing with me.. I came last April here in Maldives with a business visa,then last May i got my work visa approval..and hopefully maybe before end of this month I'll get my Visa Card..
