I live in the US and had my daughters pierced at 2 months of age. The younger they are they will be less apt to yank them out! But it isnt unusual!

So, how did things turn out with your little girl? It does seem to be the new fashion in Central America to have two or three earrings right from birth. We have seen it in Panama as well. It can be very cute if done carefully.  Our daughter got her ears multi-pierced (and gauged) when older, so I am sure she would have liked us to do hers as a baby instead.

Do you have pictures?
