Where is Bag Factory / Shirt Factory in Indonesia?

Hi mates,

I'm thinking to open my own apparel shop in Jakarta.
Does anyone know any good shirt factory where i can design my own shirts.

or perhaps a factory that allows me to give them ideas on
what kind of backpacks i want them to make.

i have heard that there are such factories located in Bandung.
Any good recommendations?

I think you should visit Cibaduyut in Bandung.. they have a lot of products, like t-shirts, jeans, shoes, bags... you probably can ask one of the sellers there...

There are 2 types of factories -
1. Factories making apparels for direct export
2. Factories who do Sub Contract for Export oriented Factories or Brands

Type 2 factories are suitable for you depending on your quantities. These factories have good infrastructure & may fulfil your requirement, they have better understanding on the apparel designing n manufacturing process rather those who are doing for domestic market.Indonesia is a good source for Garments & there are lot of factories in Bandung , Bekasi, Semarang, Jogjakarta, Solo, Pilkangan & Surabaya.
