Is Manzanillo in Jalisco?

Has anyone visited Manzanillo? I've heard there are great beaches there and just about 10 - 15 miles north of there. Is it true that it's about a 3 and 1/2 hour drive? Any suggestions for favorite beach? Thanks, Jack

I live an hour north of Manzanillo in Melaque.聽聽We are in Jalisco and Manzanillo is in Colima.聽聽Yes nice beaches in this area.聽 Manz would be a 3-4 hour drive from Guadalajara
