Hi and welcome to ½ûÂþÌìÌà Suzanne !

What part of Canada?
A few words about yourself maybe?
It might help.

What kind of fun do you want to have in Canada. Life is not all fun in Canada!Difficult to get jobs here, climate is not so so good! People are talkless and helpless at times! Money is scarce! Housing very expensive, food too! One salary is not sufficient to make ends meet. You can come on a testing time and then decide, otherwise don`t be the adventurous girl.

I am going to live in Ottawa.
I will be working as an Au-pair with a nice family.
Maybe it wont be al fun and games but i'm in for an adventure. Live in holland is not simple as well and I want to have and adventure :)Don't care iff i have to work hard!

Great to know that you have enthusiasm for your work and life in Canada. Don't lose that energy. One of the greatest challenge so far for me is the weather since your coming from a cold country I'm sure you'll be fine. But at times, the winter is so harsh for immigrants so bundle up.

Enjoy your life in Canada: weather, people, and especially the places.

You are coming in at  the right time, and u will like it very much. I'm from Ottawa which is 4 Hrs drive from Toronto and 2 Hrs from Montreal (Quebec). Mostly, I work in the Asia-pacific Region and travel a lot, because I love the whether.

I also spend couple of months a year in Thailand, particularly in BKK, Phuket and Pattaya. I love the sandy beaches and the Thai food. Last year I bought a Condo and planning to go back at the end of August.

If u let me know which city u are planning to come, I can give u some heads up.

Keep in touch.

Best regards
Ken

Ottawa is a small city compared to Toronto or Montreal. Mostly Govt. depatments scattered all over. Also, there are number of high-tech companies in this city.

We have the longest canal which gets frozen during the winter. It's fun scating on the canal. U missed the Tulip festival which comes in May.

Did u get a chance to go to the Byward Market on the Rideau Street,Down town. Quebec side we have a number of parks,Museums, Boating and a Casino.
