Hey everybody
I am planning to relocate to Bahrain if my work application is successful-I have a mother in an old age home and when in Bahrain would like to send her some money-what are the rules and limitations regarding "taking" money out of Bahrain?

Josnuggles

Umm not a lot of rules - I send BD3000 to UK monthly and you can either use your bank in order to do the transfer or use one of the money transfer companies.

It is a very simple process - hope your mum is okay and welcome to the forum

Hi
you can easily send money to your mother...
There is no such limitations...

I see your interests include animals. Be prepared to have your heart strings pulled. We have over 15,000 stray dogs and the same with cats in Bahrain. I now have 4 cats, a dog and 2 tortoise.

Sorry guys off topic I know but he is new :D

HA HA  yes and lady-sorry-yes i have seen some images of some of the dogs in Bahrain-not something i would like to talk about-my dog is a cross breed Boerboel/Chow and he is my king-he even has an electric blanket in winter..i know??

Josnuggles

Are you bringing him to Bahrain?? 50 degree's here in summer but there are chows and huskies here.

We run a few facebook pages on strays and adoption and the numbers are actually going down slowly (think they are all in my lounge!!)

ANEWSEASON

looks like we have something in common-not sure i can put him through the trauma or myself for that matter-the job outcome will help me decide what to do with my Rover-
Thank you for great work

Josnuggles

No problems. Best to stop talking about animals on a banking post before we get told off - there are strict rules (which I'm breaking)

But if you want further advice on Rover or anything else please feel free to email me on here and I will help all I can.

Everyone on this forum are really helpful and you get a great mixture of nationalities and information. This site has been invaluable to me.

Wow ... Another animal lover :)

Welcome to Bahrain ANEWSEASON. I am sure you will like the place. We all do!

Outward Remittances - no problems. No restrictions. Just like everyone else has said above.

ANEWSEASON

thank you and have a great day lady and gents
