hows the life in Pembroke?

Post new topic

lizpafrank

I was offered a job in Pembroke. I would like to know the real experience of the people staying there. How safe it is, the cost of living etc.
Do we have to pay any taxes? Are we allowed to send money home?
Are the people friendly?
Any idea of the salary range of an administration manager / accounts manager in a college?

very much appreciated if anybody can share their views.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Azilaf,
Me and my family just moved to Pembroke and we like it... we moved because of my son's school but we really benefit from the location cause we are 10 min walk from st george bay (small beach) and just 2 min walk from lovely new playground. Pembroke doesn't have many shops beside just tiny supermarkets a few chemists, a butcher ecc.
It's populated by schools, students, and hotels.
But it is just beside paceville and st. julian's which are two of the major places where you can enjoy good restaurants, pubs, clubs , casino ecc ecc.
Please let me know if you need some specific info....
