is having headache recently. it hurt at the back of my head and get worse after my yoga class or at night. not sure if it was caused by blood pressure.i used to have low blood pressure but I have put it in control by practice Pilate and yoga, take multivitamin and cancium. not drinking too. I just don't like to take MRI or seeing doctor. actually I have bad experience with doctor too. my heart ach sometimes and they said because the nerve center fail to control the heart beat. whenever I get stress or tired then it will hurt. no medicine or no method to cure.ok, I will live in peace with it. this time, I just don't want to hear the doctor telling me to tolerate the head pain again like that.
any of you got the same issue? the pain at the back of your head, especially when you bend over.it can happen any time of a day

Scotch and vicodin always takes care of my headache.  Remember you need to be a trained professional for this.  Okay, joking aside sometimes coffee helps, the caffeine speeds up the heart. Accu pressure or massage may help.

When I get a headache I do not concentrate on the pain. I imagine the pain flowing out of my head. I would stop the Yoga and make sure your pillow is supporting your head. Stop doing anything that put a strain on your neck and relax as much as possible. Don't self medicate for too long and see a specialist.

Accu pressure is good, got rid of my sister's migraines.

I would suggest to stop yoga and consult a neurologist  asap. Good luck!

Sounds like your body and your hormones are not in balance.
Suggest you do some light exercises to build up your blood pressure.
Eat healthily.
You have low blood pressure.
Stop taking the multi vitamins and calcium tablets.
They MAY be the cause of your head aches.

This forum is not the place to seek medical advice!

If its at the back of the head, it's not migraine. Migraine is either left of right side of the brain.

Agreed with Charmavietnam, it's more nerve related.
I use to have that.

There are three things you can do. First two works for me.
1. Try Vitamin B12 for a week. (get from a Pharmacist and explain your symptoms)
2. Go for a good massage.
3. See a neurologist if 1 and 2 failed.

I use to take Declofenac+Omefrazol but Declofenac is a Class II drug so not issued without a prescription.
Haven't you tried heating and applying lil Declofeac Sodium Jell and a massage?
As I too have headaches come and go so I searched web one-day and found these tips. Its some advises to avoid headaches and some home remedies.

"avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, tension, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods, SMOKING and alcohol.

Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits like dates, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help if cough is not there.

herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full headache will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.

If it is acute pl search a painful point (with round tipped pen/jimmy) 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, headache will disappear within 30 seconds.

For forehead/eye pain the points are in front of nails on the finger tips or 3-7 mm below.

Watch your intake of the food additive MSG (mono-sodium glutamate). Vietnamese use MSG in just about every dish they cook. It is sold in all the markets here, in 1 kg and larger bags. Looks like small white crystals, or flakes. It's everywhere, and is known to cause migrane headaches in some people. If you eat enough of it, you can actually be poisoned by it. Even some Vietnamese people, who've eaten this stuff all their life, and have a tolerance for it, have been poisoned by it. If you never had much problem with headaches before moving to Vietnam, but now you do, consider what you're eating. Stop eating Vietnamese food (or eat only your own cooking so you know exactly what's in it) for a while and see if the headaches get better. If you have a high level of MSG in your system, it could take as long as a month to get better.
