hi!! need some help how me and my boyfriend can marry while his on jordan and me at the philippines i just arrive in my home country and wishing to move in at jordan but with financial problems he cant come here this year is there such thing as absent marriage?thanks!

firstly, some while ago i heard about a marriage which can be arranged through the phone, however, the jurisdiction of each country will be decisive. secondly, there is this so-called orfi marriage as well but i am recommedning not to go through this. orfi is pretty well accepted in egypt. if the couple decides after an orfi marriage contract to make their marriage legal to be changed to a normal legal marriage contract, this can be made exclusively in egypt. orfi itself requires one lawyer and two witnesses, in order to be able to legalize it in egypt later on.

better not to come maybe u may regret..enjoy ur life in phillipine if he cant provide you to take there how much more if u come in jordan..think twice ate..jordan is poor country ,,goodluck to you
