Does any body know what are the medical tests that are required as part of the Residence Visa Process?

hi guys,
            plz...plz...help me i am from india got job offer as IT professional in bahrain but hepa b+ve....none of the medical centers know tht hepa b+ve test is not needed for IT prof so they not giving me FIT to work certificate,now i am in dilama i have resigned my old company...plz help me,is thr any chance to get the certificate.....plz help me ....thanks in advance....

Any body to update us on the HBV tests for residence visa in Bahrain?

are they required?
Required for certain job categories?
Required for certain nationalities?

I have come across this link. It mentions HBV tests but the closing statment make it really hard to know if HBV tests are only applied to certain categories rather rather than being a standard requirment for any profession.

More insight anyone?

Is the medical only for those employed in Bahrain?

You need a medical check-up before you get your employment visa in Bahrain. Similiar rule applies to many countries in the GCC.

Ahh, so being an unemployed dependent doesnt require one. Lucky, I hate medicals.
