Best Coffee in Rennes?

Post new topic

Hey hey,

So being Australian and a foodie I love coffee and am a total addict to good strong flavourful espresso. Consequently I was wondering if there were many other coffee enthusiasts out there who are not really satisfied by the predominantly mild flavoured, over extracted coffee available in Rennes? I have found one place which does good Australian style coffee/espresso called Surprise Party which is at 1 bis rue Poullain Duparc and its an adorable cupcake shop run by two lovely girls. However does anyone know of any other good coffee out there? And if they are hiring ;) ?

Cheers,
Devin

Hi!

I'm also a fan of coffee, namely italian one.

I've found two places so far - caffe Alto near metro Charles de Golle, and a very good italian place run by italians in rue de Paris (if you go south by boulvard douchess Anne, and then turn on the right on rue de paris - it's very close there. It's open only for lunches 12-2 pm. and on fridays for dinners).

I will definetly try your place!

Cool thanks for your recommendations! I will try to find the Italian place you mentioned, and I have seen Cafe Alto but haven't been there. Hope you enjoyed Surprise Party if you've been.

Cheers,
Dev.

I'm glad you made that post, I was getting worried I would never find a decent coffee here haha I'll have to try these places, thanks!
