Hi Raju
I understand your feeling for your home since you are far from.
As I used to say it is only matter of time concern.
It is always difficult for being in Japan as Gaijin at begining
Take your time, if you have time try to go out and try to communicate with local people then you may find some friend.
If you make one step from yourself it won't make any differences.
Be strong and start to go out.
Think as pessimistic but act as optimistic
then you will find a way to make you happy.

Raju,
As you will stay here only 6 months, to study japanese linguage, I suggest you to try enlarge friendship with japanese young people at first, you will learn more quickly and will make friends to exchange both cultures.
Try one free ad in METROPOLIS (free magazine for foreigners) (facebook.com/Metropolis Magazine) and they have many activities and events informations for foreigners in Japan.
good luck.
