Post new topic

Hey guys,

I just moved to KL and I need some information about KL Hospital.

1. Is it a public or private hospital?

2. What services does it offer against diseases such as malaria?

Thanks! Help is greatly appreciated!

Its a public hospital but foreigners can use it at reduced rates (i.e. it is not as expensive as private hospitals). Of course can treat any disease or illness - its a modern hospital.  Check if the Malaria might be Dengue Fever?

Thanks for your reply. Do you know if the services are available to anybody or only to residents?

As I wrote before - it offers services to non-Malayians (foreigners) but the charges are higher for foreigners. A deposit will be taken on admission. There is no free health care in Malaysia. For primary health care just contact a doctor at a clinic - consultation available for small fee. I know that foreign workers also use a cheap hospital or clinic in Chow Kit.
