Friends of me are coming to Cape Town 7 december to set up a business and are looking for good second hand cars. One big one for transporting goods, so a VW van or other transporter car would be interesting and they also want a smaller car for the wife who has to bring the children every day to school.

I also am looking myself for a safe secondhand car with airbags younger than 2007.

Maybe expats who are leaving the country have cars for sale or does someone has a tip where to buy cars from a trustable car seller.
I heard a bad story from someone who bought a secondhand Honda Jazz from persons who had hired this car - he found out later - from a rental agency. They were forced to give back the car to the rental car agency and lost all their money, so I am very careful.

A person who hires a car would not have the title.聽 Anybody buying a car without a title is very foolish.聽 You can always check with NTIS to see if a prospective owner is indeed the owner.
