10 counts traffic violations, possible for deportation?

Post new topic

Dear All,

I would like to know how to find out if I exceeded with the pointing system with regards to traffic violations. Last month I found out I have 10 counts traffic violations and I paid 5,800 SR including 1,500 SR penalty for late payment. I'm worried if I exceeded with the pointing system. I just read the news tonight regarding deportation for exceeding the pointing system of traffic violations.

Regards,

Are you sure you're not Saudi? ;)

Opo, Pilipino po ako. Bakit po? (Yes, I'm a Filipino. Why?)

Most cameras are indicated by the yellow signs a couple of hundred meters before the camera... keep your eyes open, and slow down man!

Also, keep an eye out on other cars on the road.  If you see most cars suddenly drop in speed by 10-20 km/h, means there is a camera very near!

As for the points system, is it even implemented in the country?  I know it exists, but like a lot of rules, it doesn't look like it is implemented.

And how come you let them accumulate like that?  Did you never see the flashes?

First and foremost thank you for your advice and hint. Most of my violations were in Eastern Region. I did not see any flashes maybe I just focused on the road with 200km/hr. When my colleague told me that he had traffic violations, that was the time I checked and we were shocked with the fines. Supposedly it was 4,800 SR for 10 counts violations, then in the following day it was become 5,800 because the initial 3 violations got doubleD (penalty). Lesson learned. Now I don't want to wait to be deported without doing nothing. I need to know how can I fInd out if I exceeded. If someone can help I will give the details of my traffic violations or my iqama number if necessary.

THIS is why I asked if you're Saudi (it was a joke, btw):

A guy I know told me his uncle, a long-distance driver in the East (he'd drive people to Mecca), racked up something like $15,000 in fines the first month!

franciskitx

I know it was a joke:)) Even here in the office asked me if I'm a Saudi :) I always told, I'm working here to help Saudi Gov't:)

There is a probability >0% for that; Saudi Arabia is experiencing a serious immigration reformation. They will look for small things like that as an excuse. I am not going to go with the 200 km/h is a criminial behavior and risky-on-the-life-of-others speech, etc, etc. But please know, if a police officer caught you with a speed greater than 180 km/h, they have the right to jail violators for 24 hours in addition to request from MOI central to hold you until you pay your debts, if they knew about them in the system. Here I am talking only about what is legal for them to do.

To me, it is not worth it. This has happened to my friend's driver (although I don't remember my friend saying anything about deportation), and my friend had to struggle and intervene to solve this.

Good Day all,,

what Mr. Deyaa1989 said is so true.

In addition I wanted to say that points system is implemented but not really active.
However, somebody can sue you with that and take the actions against you if they wanted to.
there is a point clarifications table that each vio. and how many points will be accumulated against it.
for your case:
each speed limit exceed under 25km/h = 4 pts
each speed limit exceed above 25km/h = 6 pts

then if your accumulated points in one year exceeded 24 pts they will withdraw your license 3 months (for the 1st time)

take care body

Thanks for your all inputs.
