Christmas in Montenegro

Post new topic

Christine Jones

Myself and my daughter are coming to Muo (Boka Kotorska) 26 December to 2 January.  Can anyone tell me if there is anything to do which will be open at that time and is easy to get to from there?

Nemanja

Most of the people in Montenegro are orthodox, so they celebrate Christmas at 7th of January :)

Hi Christine,
What exactly are you looking for? You will have a lot of places open in Kotor and Tivat (15min by car).
There are usually some live music in Budva on the 31st.
Enjoy!

Hello Carine and Nemanja and thank you for your replies.  I guess I was looking for something that would be of interest to a child (my daughter is 11) and which is under cover which we could do if the weather is bad?  If Christmas is 7 January, presumably all public transport will be running, as we won't be hiring a car?

Thanks so much for your help.
Kind Regards
Christine
