Hi Cathy,

As it related to my work (my profession is int'l moving), I thought maybe I can give you some advices.

First, medicines are stronly restricted by air cargo in China, but there's no strict restrictions for luggage(it'll be sensitive if any goods in the same catagory takes too much). so if you can find anyone coming to Beijing by air, this guy will help you a lot.

Second, if you need to mail it here, you must be cleared by the mailing company whether they can receive it or not. Because medicines are sensitive goods (as well as book, CD, DVD, plent, aninals, ammunitions), it may cause very strict inspections by CIQ if the customs found that, even may be caused to confiscated without notice.

If the medicine is very expensive (as far as i know, any goods more than US$500 will need to declare cutoms and prepare invoice), you'd better ask the mailing company very exactly.

Let me know if you need more info.

sorry, forgot to notice you, if you're really willing to mail it, the ordinary mail will be safer than express (the beijing customs won't check all the goods one by one), although it takes more time, but whatever way you use, never lost your freight note or invoice!!!

Not sure if they can assist but try the guys at Dongxi.com. They specialise in buying things in the US and shipping them to China
