What advice would you have for new companies from Europe trying to start up business here and breaking into the Libyan market. What are the does and donts? What are the keys to success? All information greatly received

Naaah, just check out business media: The Report by OBG is decent (and only little lipstick-on-pig)

And it's only worth it if you find a knowledgeable and trustworthy local(s) to handle to painful bits for you. There are few Libyans on this forum who had probably sent you a kiss-up PM by this point. Do consider the option.

Make sure to find a trustworthy business partner, otherwise have a business plan that recoups all your investment as fast as possible.
