Hi there
we moved in Scotland two months ago,  we where in Bogota. Colombia for the last two years.
We have two large dogs, to start we stayed in an apartment in Inverurie for 10 days.
it was very difficult to find a house in near Aberdeen who allowed dogs.
We end up renting a lovely beautiful big house but a bit far because of the dogs. We are in Rothienorman 10 mins from Inverurie,  no the most exciting place in Scotland its beautiful but very  lonely. My husband works in Dyce it just take 20 mins to commute each ways.
good for him but for me its not the ideal place to live as an expat.  seens like the people just come to sleep in this place.

good luck.
