It depends on what you'd like to eat. If you want to eat street food, so there are many places for you. But it's a little hard to find those places though

There are actually many food different places for different tastes of food in Hanoi. Tong Duy Tan which is name cuisine street is a good idea that you can try for your first few days. Take a walk around and you can consider and make your own decision

Hello budse,

If this is the first time you come Hanoi, i think you should visit Ngu Xa street. It also has VietNam and foreign restaurents. At night, you can have beer at Ta Hien street. This is such a interesting place.
