right now its normal, as from some weeks or months it was not safe in Nasr City area, but it depends which district exactly in Nasr City you are going to live!

My office would be in El-Gomhory Buildings Akkad Mall, El-Nasr Road, Nasr City. So I plan to stay somewhere around that place.Would it be a good idea to rent an apartment there?Or any other places you would suggest where I could stay.

right now every thing is ok in Egypt but when there are riot ( that is not happening now and stooped from a while and don't think it will back soon )  every thing be bad in Nasr city so you can rent an apartment in some place near it ...  and it will depend if you have a car and your budget for me I live near Nasr city in ( msakken sheraton )it's very safe and even if there is a demonstrations every where in Cairo it's the only place that you will find it quit with no demonstrations and it's only 10 min from Nasr city with car and it's easily to find transports from their to Nasr city but  it's some kind have rental high rates about 3000 ~ 3500 L.E = 450$ ~ 500$ per month

Thanks Omar. Its great to hear that things are going good there right now.I got one query.When you speak about the rent in msakken sheraton being 3-3.5k LE is it for a 1 BHK or 2 BHK; furnished/unfurnished apartment?

3.5K will be for 2BHK furnished flat but it depends on the quality of furnished it might be even less than this and it will depend also about where will you stay in msakken sheraton because there difference between blocks in it  if you visited it you will now what I mean for me I stay in flat 1 BHK full furnished by 2300K .... last advice try to come first as a visitor to see the places and make decisions don't just come to Egypt and hope to find apartment in 1 day . if you have any other question I will be here
