Bored in Tunis!

Post new topic

I-am-here-now

Hi all,

We are looking for fun things to do in Tunis (and surrounding areas) and are running out of ideas. We have done all the sightseeing and tourist attractions and short trips to Sousse, Hammamet and even the south of Tunisia. We visited the Bardo museum and roman ruins of Dougga and El Jem and the Enfidha Zoo. We checkout out the souks, movie theaters, thalasso spas and even the horse back ridding... did we miss anything?

Can anyone recommend anything else, maybe art galleries or museums, outdoor activities or extreme sports, boat rentals or organized fishing trips, casinos, comedy clubs, billiard, great restaurants, live shows, festivals, good party places, any type of attraction - any suggestion is welcomed.

Let me know if you think of anything.
Thanks and have a nice day!

Well..you have done alot so far, next will be buying a cross bike or a dirtbike or even a quadbike and go to Gammarth , there's a special place up there to race or have fun.
If you are a good number, you can rent a foot ball field with artificial grass in the way to gammath infront of the training centre or in Soukra ( i think its 6dt per person) .
While we are in the summer season, you can go to Dar Nawar ( a club hotel in Gammarth) and rent a Jet-sky.
Another thing, you can join the diving clubs in Tabarka and Bizert..discover the underwater of Tunisia..its famous with Corals over there  :)

Aqil

Many people do not know this, but there is an extremely beautiful palace-cum museum in Sidi Bou Said called Palace Najma Ezzahra. Its on the right side next to the tourist parking. The view is absolutely spectacular, and the architecture of the building is amazing.
