Contemplating a possible move to PACA

Post new topic

Mr.Audi

Today is officially the first full day of spring, outside is 2 degrees feeling like -6 with the windchill and tomorrow we expect a...snowstorm but hey, this is Canada.
I am contemplating moving to a sunnier side of the world with milder climates and as I am a french speaker, the south of France comes to my mind.
I am thinking either Cannes or Antibes and I would appreciate if someone could share some insight about housing prices for rent/buy,where are the good areas to live and so forth, any info would be appreciated.
I am a car salesman working for a luxury brand and I hope to do the same job over there.
Merci et a bientot.

Cannes or Antibes (or Cote d'Azur generally) are very expensive! 30 minute or so drive into Var and prices drop dramatically. Rentals in the University cities on the coast can be worth a look though.
