Visit Visa to Working Visa (from Philippines)

Dear All,

I will be moving to Bahrain for visit.

Before I lived here in the Philippines, what other necessary overseas protocol that I need to secured.

This is my first time to work abroad.

Any advice on my situation are highly appreciated and a big help on my part.

Hi Tonnie - the procedure is what is usually followed. Visit visa first. You arrive here on the visit visa. Then the company will get your residence permit and work visa sorted out.

I am not aware of local regulations in Philippines and leave this to Filipino members of the Forum to respond. Best wishes

I already received my visit visa and plane ticket.

What are the next steps here in the Philippines?
- do i need to go to POEA? what are the documents that i need to prepare?
- do i need to go to OWWA? what are the documents that i need to prepare?
