We are expats thinking about staying on this island long-term.聽聽 We would like to communicate with others who have visited here (lots of questions).聽聽

i.e. ??'s:
-聽 Is there a possibility of renting a place long-term there.
-聽 Is there internet on the island.

There are many places to rent long term.聽 Anywhere from 200usd-500usd a month is easy to find if you're looking near Dung Dong.

There are several international hotels on the island (thus wifi), and there are several coffee shops and places around that have internet also.聽 Very cheap in VN.

I would recommend to come to the island first and stay at a local hotel for a week or so to ask the local expats in town a good place to stay.

Ken, you can get free internet use at Buddy's Cafe in Duong Dong. A fair number of expats frequent it, so you should be able to pick up tips on renting.
