Hello to all, my name is Gale, we are looking to move to Bulgaria this year, we are looking to rent a rural house around Burgus area whilst we look to buy a property there, i have looked on websites etc and there dose not seem to be a lot of properties to rent, anyone got any informations for me that may help. Thanks

There are plenty of properties available for rent in most parts of Bulgaria but they are advertised in Bulgarian and either empty or furnished to Bulgarian taste, which may not suit someone used to Western European standards. Try IMOT.BG or BAZAR, both sites have availability. My advice would be to arrange a month in a guest-house. You should be able to do that for less than 15 per night. Once settled look at everything before agreeing to a rental. Do not expect the landlord to make repairs for you, that's no the Bulgarian way; you are on your own. The upside is that the weather is good for the next three months so yo have time to find somewhere warm for the winter.
