I'm overstayed person and i have student visa, i wanna know what will face at the airport when departure! by the way my visa is valid till the end of may but i've just know that i should apply for residence from the first month of arrival and i entered istanbul on 7th of dec ..
Anyone knows about the fines and the rules or the bans will i face ??

You will be fined #TL for each DAY that you overstayed. This price depends on your country and the mood of the police officer as well. My friend from Canada overstayed by 3 days and she had to pay $30 at the airpoort. There isnt any website that can 100% say this is how much you will pay. Ive read on some forum that some airports like Izmir dont even care and just let people go without paying.

I think you have to pay 200$ at the airport for staying more than 3 months without a valid residence permit. But you mentioned you have a student's visa, possibly they won't charge you anything ..
