Hi jake here from kl.. Hatyai is a gateway to the southern island, if not going out, you can shop for fruits, dried condiments and the occasional robinson sale for stuff such as a decent coffee machine! Other than that I think eating would be a nice pastime.. Such as coconut ice cream, etc..

Thank you ghgoh. I've been roaming around the streets around Centara and so far nothing wowed me. I'll explore more today and see what I can get.
