Hello
I'm a forty one year old Irish man from Dublin. I've been visiting the island regularly for the last ten years and am making the transition to living there full time. I'm fairly fit and a reasonable swimmer.

I'd like to have a go at surfing and kite-boarding. I've never tried either. I'd appreciate some advice on either or both e.g. where, when, whether to buy equipment in England (where I live) or Mauritius. Kite boarding looks complicated so I would have thought it best to try it before making a decision on buying.

Are there any who view this who would be interested in meeting up?

I've had a go at stand-up paddle boarding and really enjoyed it. I'd also appreciate some advice on where best to buy one; they seem quite expensive.
