Hi

Finally all our personal effects have arrived in Bahrain so I can take up some of my craft hobbies again as my jewellery tools and bits and pieces are now here too. So I have a question ... anyone know if I can buy beads and findings here in Bahrain? I've kept a keen eye open when wandering round the souk but not spotted a single bead except in finished necklaces etc!

It would be lovely to make some pieces inspired by local objects for my friends back home.

Hi, welcome to Bahrain. Very hard to give an address but a collegue of mine makes jewelery and says there is a crafts shop opposite the Bahrain Arts Society building, if you google that then a little map will come up.
