New American in Mexico City

Post new topic

JPB63

Hi Everyone!

I have moved to Mexico City, and I'll be here for a while.
I'm living in Polanco, but I am finding myself with not knowing any people.
Let's be friends!?

Thanks!

Welcome dude

Hi JPB,

I live in la Condesa and I've found myself in a similar situation. I have many relatives here but am only in contact with one. Perhaps the cultural differences (especially the difference in communication - polite frankness vs politely avoiding a topic) are too much for them to handle. It's always comforting to meet someone with a similar cultural background as yours. Feel free to contact me if you want to expand your friends list.

Hello! I can see the post was published in June! Hahaha, I arrived to México like a month and a half ago! And I get myself in the same situation of knowing no-one! So, I'll love the idea of being friends! I'm living in Carola, which isn't so far from Polanco! Take care of yourself! <3
