Is anyone having problems when applying for an employment visa? All my previous visa's have been issued within 3-4 days. I've been stuck in th UK for 7 weeks now awaiting a new visa due to change of employment.

I applied for my employment visa and I got it the next day. That was on March from Indian Consulate in Germany.
It might be useful to ask the HR of new employer to contact directly with embassy/consulate to push it.
