Qatar Driving License to Oman Driving License ?

Dear Sir,
I am a new resident of Oman. I would like to take Omani Driving Licence. I have valid Qatari Driving license which will expire in 2015. Please let me know if i can directly transfer Qatari Driving license to Omani driving license without any test (Except Eye Test) . If YES what all are procedures ??

I still believe that it is possible to convert your Qatari into an Omani Driving License, a couple of years back, my colleague who had transferred from Qatar did so. Alternatively, you can also check at the Qurum Police Station, thats where they issue the driving licenses.
