What to wear when going to Language school for a job??

Post new topic

tonilynnejones

Hey guys :)
I'm going home for a visit soon and plan on buying a few things to wear before the move from Thailand to Vietnam. Once in Saigon I'm going to go to some language schools to check out ESL job options. What should I wear ( as a woman) when going in to talk to someone? I was thinking of a nice skirt and blouse. Any thoughts?

Thanks

zabrinale

Yes, a light suit if you have ( skirt & top) or a nice dress would do!

I always remember to wear pants.

Men are supposed to wear pants, unless they are from Scotland.

It  was a joke from the Simpsons.
Homer gets all ready for a meeting and arrives to find he forgot to wear pants.

Hi,

You can realize how you will wear here. I prefer different styles.

By the way I love seeing Scotland men wearing skirts..

Replying to Ngattt:
The outfits look very nice but i think they are too dressy for work or for a job interview!

Very stylish  ;)

Unsure what to wear, how about wearing an Ao Dai ?

Or

If you're really stuck, wear your birthday suit?

Ok on a serious note, i'd go with ngattt's suggestions. They are formal and look nice  :)

Good luck

I think ngattt's top picture is too much (something someone would wear on a fancy night out) and the bottom one too casual. I think your best bet would be an nice skirt and blouse that are on the more conservative side. Think of what you'd want to see someone wear if you were the person doing the hiring. If you have decent qualifications, I doubt you'll have much trouble finding a job. Also, being a women will be to your advantage.

When I go to office (not many people here, we are teachers, so we can stay home):
